Concord Rotary has a long and impressive history of participating in the long term international youth exchange program. Since 1987 we have hosted 20 in-bound students from other countries and 18 out-bound to foreign countries. Our exchange students have been a joy to have at our meetings each month and add an international flavor to our club on an on going basis.

The exchange student we are hosting for 2011-2012 is Ana Ramos from Paracatu, Brazil.

My name is Ana F. Ramos, an exchange student from Paracatu, Brazil. I arrived in the US on August 14th and ever since I've been having unforgettable experiences. I study at Concord High School, which is an amazing school and where I had the oportunity to make lots of friends. I'm also taking interesting classes, such as Economics and Anatomy, and I've joined the school's dance team. I am very grateful to my sponsor and host Rotary Clubs to have the chance to get to know so many places and for the support during this unique journey of my life. Rotary Youth Exchange really rocks!
